Coaching Team

The Club coaches are well trained, dynamic, high energy, attentive and reliable.  They develop a disciplined environment that facilitates learning and minimizes disruption, whilst  maintaining a pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere.  Our coaches go the extra mile for your children.  All of our coaches have passed an Enhanced C.R.B.  Check and appropriate Child Protection course,  and are committed to ensuring the welfare and safety of  all Club members.      (Click Here to view Coaches Code Of Conduct)

Ray Peck - Founder (Retired)

Ray has over thirty years coaching experience in gymnastics, and founded The Club in 1987.  Ray’s ethics that gymnastics should be fun as well as productive has been the foundation block that The Club builds upon.

Clare Wulff - Head Coach

A decade of Young Person & Child Care has meant that Clare has a wealth of experience with young people.  Having qualified as a gymnastics coach, The Club is able to utilize this experience to benefit the gymnasts.

Rachel’s fun-loving and energetic nature is infectious and firmly places her in a position as an ideal COGC coach.  As well as being qualified in General Gymnastics, she also runs a local face-painting business that specialises in children’s parties and events.

Sophie Martin - Assistant Club Coach

Sophie has been coaching gymnastics for the last 6 years.  She is complimenting her practical coaching by undertaking a degree in Sport Coaching & Physical Education to develop her skills in other disciplines.

Felicity Paton - Assistant Club Coach

Carina Brown - Coach

Formerly a competing gymnast, now a multi-disciplined coach. Outside of C.O.G.C., Carina also works with the County School Sport Partnership, creating a link between all of the local schools and the club to promote the sport and try to get as many people involved as possible!
