Location The Centre is located on the south side of Chichester and signposted from the A27(T) and also from the northern approach roads when following City Centre signs. Car Parking Ample, well lit and secure parking is available for Centre users in the car parks at the front and rear of the building. Bike racks are available at the front of the building. Disabled parking is available at the front of the building. Access for People with Disabilities Westgate Leisure seeks to offer easy access for people with disabilities, with the provision of automatic entrance doors, sunken reception counters, lift, ramps and steps, adapted toilet and changing facilities. Customers with hearing impairments can contact the centre via minicom/textphone and an induction loop is incorporated into the Main Reception as well as a portable loop available via the Health and Fitness Centre main reception. Visually impaired customers will find tactile markings on the underside of the handrails of the main stairs. Literature is available in large print, braille on lift buttons and a percentage of the lockers. There is careful use of lighting/colour contrast to minimise hazards. |
