Chichester Olympic Gymnastics Club is located at the Tim Peake Sports and Conference Centre, in the grounds of Chichester High School.
Our Facilities
The gymnastics hall offers a spacious, well-lit purpose-built sports hall where the Club has been based since 2010. With a mirrored viewing gallery running the entire length of the hall, parents and carers are able to sit during session times and observe the gymnasts going about their training, without the gymnasts seeing them.
Access for people with disabilities
Our gymnasts train in all four disciplines of artistic gymnastics – the vault, the uneven bars, the beam and the floor – and the Club owns a full range of the latest gymnastics equipment, enabling our gymnasts to train on the appropriate apparatus for their skill level and ability.
Chichester Gymnastics Academy seeks to offer easy access for people with disabilities with the provision of automatic entrance doors, sunken reception counters, lift ramps and steps, and adapted toilet and changing facilities. Disabled parking spaces are also provided at the front of the centre.
Travelling to the centre
On the south side of Chichester, the centre is within walking distance of the town centre and close to both the railway and bus stations.
Ample, free, well-lit and secure parking is available for club members in the car parks at the front of the building, including disabled parking spaces directly in front of the centre’s entrance.
Bike racks are also available.
